Bath Spa Station’s ticket office £500,000 make over

First Great Western is delighted to announce that over £500,000 improvement works to Bath Spa Station are set to begin on Monday 18 November.
The station will benefit from remodelling of the ticket office and concourse to improve the station environment and customer experience, and is due to take six months to complete.
First Great Western’s Bath Spa Station Manager Peter Rignall said:
“First Great Western pride’s ourselves on putting our customers first and supporting the communities we serve. We recognise the key role that rail travel has in supporting the local and national economy and we are delighted to be able to start this work.
“During the previous franchise over £85 million was invested across our network of 210 stations, by working with rail industry partners, the DfT, and local authorities.”
The National Station Improvement Programme work is due to complete at the end of March 2014.
