GWR has teamed-up with Countryfile Live 2018 to offer a special ticket for travel and access to the event

Great Western Railway has launched a new ticket for people wanting to travel to Countryfile Live 2018. The event is taking place in the grounds of the historic Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire from tomorrow (2 August 2018) until Sunday 5 August (inclusive).

The special ticket will allow customers to travel by train to Oxford station and use either the 500, 7 or S3 bus services to Blenheim Palace on the same ticket. Customers wishing to travel from Oxford itself can buy a bus ticket and entry to the palace from GWR.

The combined train, bus and entry to Countryfile Live ticket will allow customers to save up to £90 depending on where they travel from, compared to purchasing tickets separately.

GWR Head of Marketing and Sales Amanda Burns, said:

“GWR is delighted to be able to help provide direct travel to some of the country's most popular events, including Country File live at Blenheim Palace - where this year events goers will be treated to a very special Famous Five inspired Garden and an adventure of their own.”
