Change ticket

If you need to change your ticket:

  • a charge of £10 a ticket (or extra depending on the train you change to) applies to advance Standard and First Class tickets – make sure you do this to avoid needing to pay extra 
  • Super Off-peak/Off-peak Single or Return tickets can be changed to a different time period by buying an upgrade in advance

Ways to change your ticket

Online tickets:

  • log into your account online, where you can click on the booking, view more details and amend your ticket booking
  • or, you can call 03457 000 125

Tickets bought at a station:

  • visit the train station ticket office

There’s a charge of £10 for each ticket – plus any difference in the fare

If you’ve bought tickets through another company, contact them directly.


In some circumstances, you may be able to get a refund on your ticket or season ticket.
