Network Rail is modernising Bath Spa station in preparation for new, longer trains which will enter service later this year. The work will include making the platforms wider and will also reduce the stepping distance to and from trains.
Most journeys will remain the same; although times may change and some routes will have a reduced service.
On the weekends of 8 to 9 April, 14 to 17 April (Good Friday to Easter Monday) and 22 to 23 April, no trains will stop at Bath Spa station.
Trains may be diverted and replacement buses will be used on some routes.
There will also be regular buses running between Castle Cary and Bristol Temple Meads to connect with Weymouth line services.
The car park will be closed to allow Network Rail access to the platforms. Alternative car parks are available at Southgate, Manvers Street and Avon Street.
The drop off point and the Blue Badge parking spaces will remain open.
If you’re off to see the match, we have plenty of trains leaving from our other stations that will get you there in time for kick off.
Non-folding bikes can’t be taken on replacement buses.
Bikes can be carried on diverted trains, although these will be much busier than normal.
You must reserve a bike space if you are travelling on one of our High Speed Trains.
