Mobile tickets are quick and convenient, just follow these 4 easy steps:
Download the app
Search and buy advance purchase tickets
Activate the ticket in the app
Show the ticket to staff before boarding and/or whilst on the train
Don't forget to charge your phone – if you can’t show your mobile ticket to station staff you’ll need to buy a new ticket on the day.

Mobile tickets are only available on certain routes, and for advanced purchase or flexible tickets.
Refunds and changes to your booking
Make sure you know:
advanced purchase fares cannot be refunded
you can change your mobile ticket prior to your date of travel, but you will have to pay a fee ‒ contact our web team on 0345 7000 125 to find out more
to get compensation for a delay or cancellation, you’ll need proof of purchase or your device to hand when contacting us
