Lost property

To register your lost property, please complete the form below, providing as much information as you can (including any contents if applicable).


Items left on trains are often recovered when the train reaches the final stop. As many journeys are very long, the terminating station may be managed by a different train company, so lost property may be handled by them instead.

Register with us in the first instance and we will let you know if you might need to contact anyone else as well.

Items recovered at GWR stations are sent to our Lost Property Office in Bristol. This includes items handed in by other train companies at GWR stations. It can take several days for items to reach us.
