We make it easy to report, find, and reclaim.

Whether you’ve lost something on one of our trains or at a station, we’ll do our best to find it for you.

Once we’ve got your details, we’ll start looking. Although it can take up to a week for things to reach us.

How it works

If we find what you’re looking for, we’ll keep it for up to 3 months. You can come and pick it up, send someone else, or pay to have it returned.

Or, if you need to talk to another train company, we’ll let you know.

Good to know

  • we don’t charge for the storage and handling of lost property.
  • items are stored for 12 weeks before we dispose of them.
  • perishable items will be disposed of straight away.
  • unclaimed items are donated to charity or sent for recycling.
  • for security reasons items must be examined, so we may need to cut off any locks.
  • suspicious items will be reported to the British Transport Police.

Where we’re based

We’re based at Bristol Temple Meads station, and easy to find. Just ask any member of the team there.

Was your bike parked in the facilities on Platform 3 and 4 at Bristol Temple Meads?

If so, it may have been removed and stored at the station by Network Rail.
