Yes, refunds can be requested through the ‘My tickets’ section of the app.
If it’s possible to amend your ticket, then this can be done by viewing the ticket in the app wallet and selecting ‘Change ticket’. Then simply follow the step by step instructions.
No, the app will only fully function if you are within the UK. However, our website GWR.com can be used outside of the UK to purchase tickets. Any e-tickets you have purchased through the website, will be available on the app once you are in the UK.
Yes, Weekly season and Flexi season tickets can be purchased on the app. However, Monthly, Annual and Custom (monthly plus) season tickets still need to be purchased on our website.
Yes, PlusBus tickets & London Travelcards can be added on the Review Your Order screen when purchasing your ticket.
Yes, in the Information tab under ‘Travelling with us’ there is a link to make an assistance request online.
Yes, in the Information tab under ‘Report a fault or crime’ there are links to report a fault on a GWR train and report a fault at a GWR station.
No, if you already have a GWR account this will work with both the app and the website. If you don’t yet have an account, this can be done by selecting Register when on the sign in screen of the app, or alternatively you can register here for an account on the GWR website.
If you can’t see your e-ticket, try refreshing the wallet. If you are still unable to see your e-ticket before you are due to travel, then save a copy or print the PDF version of the e-ticket attached to your email booking confirmation as a back-up.
Except for tickets you have requested to receive by post, all other tickets purchased on both the app and the GWR website will show in the app wallet.
No, expense receipts are only available through the My Account section of the GWR website.
