Terms and Conditions
- 20% discount is available exclusively for eligible TUI customers who are travelling on GWR services between Reading and Gatwick Airport on Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 October 2025.
- Discount is only available online when entering the relevant code “GWRAVIATION20” at checkout and is valid on Standard Advance Purchase single fares only. This offer cannot be redeemed over the phone, at ticket offices or on trains. The offer is not valid on other ticket types, such as Off-Peak / Anytime Singles or Anytime Returns.
- This offer is non-transferable and must only be used by customers travelling between Reading and Gatwick Airport, holding a valid TUI reservation for flight TOM048 / TOM049 Gatwick (LGW) – Cancun (CUN) departing at 10.05am.
- Promotional fares must be bought a minimum of 1 day in advance of travel.
- Failure to present a valid TUI TOM048 / TOM049 booking when requested by a ticket inspector, will result in the passenger being charged the difference between the discounted fare and the applicable full fare. A penalty fare may also be applied where appropriate.
- 20% discount may only be redeemed against GWR Standard Class Advance Single tickets for use on GWR services only (routed ‘GREAT WESTN ONLY’).
- 20% discount can only be redeemed on GWR.com. It cannot be redeemed on the GWR App or any via any third party retailer.
- As per the GWR Passenger’s Charter and in compliance with The National Rail Conditions of Travel, should delays prevent passengers from completing their journeys, GWR will attempt to provide onward transportation to the end station in the form of bus replacement services or taxi’s. - Where onward transportation cannot be provided by GWR, passengers may need to arrange their own onward transportation and claim this back. GWR will then pay reasonable and proportionate travel costs for alternative travel upon presentation of a valid receipt
- Unless detailed in this promotion, normal Advance Single fares terms and conditions apply.
- Please note that bookings open approximately 12 weeks before the date of travel and cannot be booked any earlier than 12 weeks prior to travel.
- These tickets will not be valid for travel on other train operator’s services, or on dates or times other than as shown on the ticket.
- The 20% discount may be used in conjunction with other offers issued by GWR (e.g. compensation e-Vouchers). It cannot however be used in conjunction with national or local railcards.
- The discount will be applied at the checkout stage by entering the code “GWRAVIATION20”
- Child fare applies for customers aged 5-15 inclusive. Up to two children aged under 5 can travel free with each fare paying passenger (seat reservations for children aged under 5 are not available).
- If booking with adults and children, adult fares need to be added to the basket first before then applying the discount code. Children aged 5-15 can then be added after this by selecting “add journey”.
- Advance Single fares are subject to availability and are non-refundable.
- GWR reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time and without notice.
- GWR also reserves the right to take appropriate action if necessary, including cancelling the 20% discount at GWRs discretion when it considers these Terms and Conditions have not been complied with.
- Any personal data collected for the purpose of this promotion will be processed in accordance with GWR’s Privacy Policy.
- Except as otherwise provided by applicable law, your contract with GWR and these Terms and Conditions shall be construed and enforced in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Disputes arising under these Terms and Conditions are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
