What to expect at Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink

Exeter and the South West have developed a rich food culture. This festival celebrates that growing culture by bringing together some of the region’s top local producers and businesses and the country’s top chefs in a gastronomic fun family event for the food loving public.

Taking place in Northernhay gardens, a short walk from Exeter Central station, the festival takes place over the bank holiday weekend, providing 3 days of foodie displays and 2 nights of live music.

Things to see and do

Enjoy demos from regional chefs in the Festival Cookery Theatre, meet passionate producers in the two food pavilions, indulge in the Darts Farm foodie talks and demonstration; get hands on with Kids Cookery Classes and much more.

Music has always been a hugely popular part of the festival. In addition to live bands during the day at the food festival, the 2 music evening gigs on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 May will feature brilliant headliners to dance the night away, plus plenty of local street food and drinks.
