PlusBus

PlusBus is a discounted bus pass that you can buy with your train ticket. It gives you unlimited bus travel, on participating operators’ services, around the whole urban area of the town or city for as little as £2 a day.

If you’ve got a Railcard you’ll get a third off your PlusBus ticket, and children aged between 5 and 15 get half price off.

You can buy PlusBus from ticket offices or GWR.com. Tickets are now also available as an e-ticket, allowing you to add PlusBus to the start and end of your journey when purchased from our website or app.

Reading PlusBus
A Reading PlusBus ticket gives you unlimited bus travel on nearly all bus services, around the urban area of Reading. This includes travel to/from the University of Reading, the Bulmershe Campus & Woodley.

Torbay PlusBus
A Newton Abbot, Paignton or Torquay PlusBus ticket gives you unlimited bus travel on participating operators’ services, around the urban area of Newton Abbot and Torbay including Brixham.

Yeovil PlusBus
A Yeovil PlusBus ticket gives you unlimited bus travel on participating operators’ services, around the urban area of Yeovil town. It is also valid on Bus Service 68 connecting Yeovil Pen Mill and Yeovil Junction Railway Stations.

Didcot PlusBus
A Didcot PlusBus ticket gives you unlimited bus travel on participating operators’ services, around Didcot and Blewbury, Britwell, Chilton, Harwell, Steventon and Upton. Great if your travelling to Harwell Science Campus.


Freedom Travelpass

Get unlimited travel on all trains and most buses in Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

Available within four zones, you can buy a daily, weekly or monthly ticket for use any time, any day.

Cotswolds Discoverer

The Cotswolds Discoverer One Day Pass is the perfect and hassle-free way to travel around and explore some of the most scenic parts of the Cotswolds by train and bus on just the one ticket.

When is my ticket valid?

Available from 09:00 (Monday-Fridays)* and all-day Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays, plus the following additional trains:

  • 08:16 Liskeard - Looe

Note: when train times change, Ride Cornwall becomes valid on the equivalent service.
