Situated on the Cotswold Line and offering local users trains to Oxford, London Paddington, Birmingham New Street and Hereford, the Malvern Link railway station is a historic and essential part of the Malvern Hills region.

The station is one of two in the town – the other being the slightly larger and busier Great Malvern Station – and has been around for decades. However, much of its original buildings, fixtures and fittings have been replaced over the years, with a great deal of refurbishment taking place in the 1960s when much of the station had to be demolished due to its age.

These upgrades include improvements made as recently as 2014, which replaced the main wooden station building which had been in place since the 1960s and updated both the platform and the entrance. This work was funded by Worcestershire County Council, Network Rail and the Railway Heritage Trust.
