Formerly known as Water Eaton Parkway, Oxford Parkway station is situated between Oxford and Kidlington, serving both locations as well as a number of other nearby towns and villages.
A relatively new addition to the network, Oxford Parkway station was opened in October 2015 with trains travelling towards Bicester and London Marylebone. Services to Oxford followed in December 2016, giving travelers easy tube connections on the Bakerloo Line and at Baker Street station.
With park and ride facilities, easy access to the A34, A40 and A44, not to mention the nearby National Cycle Route 51, Oxford Parkway Station offers a range of options for commuters.
If you’re visiting the area, the local canal ways of Thrupp are also a great place to walk on a sunny afternoon. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can rent a canoe or kayak to explore the picturesque countryside waterways. If not, maybe just stop for refreshments at the nearby tearooms.
