Buy your Family and Friends Railcard here.

While only two adults can be named as cardholders, up to four adults and four children can travel on the same card and receive the savings. You don’t need to travel together and you don’t need to be related. You must travel with at least one child between 5 and 15 to get the discount.

Children under 5 travel free and each adult can have up to two under 5s with them. If there’s only one child in the group who is under 5, you’ll need to buy them a child ticket to get the Family and Friends Railcard discount.

After a couple of trips, the card will have paid for itself. Over a year, you could save an average of £131*.

* Average saving is based on the average saving made by Family & Friends Railcard holders in 2016/17.
