The ticket office, waiting room, and toilets will then be completely closed from Friday 30th January 2026 at 17:00 onwards, before re-opening on Monday 2nd February 2026 at 06:00.
This station has step free access to Platform 1 (for trains towards Colchester and London) only. Platform 2 (for trains towards Clacton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze) can only be accessed via a stepped footbridge or via a public footpath from Clifton Terrace, which has steps between the road and the footpath.
