The Jane Austen Festival is taking place in Bath from 8 to 17 September 2023.
What to expect from the Jane Austen Festival
The Jane Austen 2023 festival will be the the 22nd annual event of guided walks, costumed balls, theatrical performances, talks and much more!
Opening with the world-record setting Regency Consumed Promenade, featuring over 400 costumed promenaders as they stroll through the streets of Bath, there will be plenty of opportunities to wear Austen-era costumes around the city including the famous masked ball held in the Roman Baths and the Pump Rooms on the final day of the festival.
The Jane Austen Festival has numerous events to take part in such as workshops, readings, talks, concerts and theatre performances.

Travelling to the Jane Austen Festival 2023 is easy. First, hop on a GWR train to Bath Spa station. The festival locations are spread throughout the city, so most are walk-able from the station.
So come and experience some Jane on the train and take one of our trains to Bath. This festival isn’t one to be missed.
