The National Trust’s Stourhead estate, nestling in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside, is described as a ‘living work of art’. Experience a heady mix of classical temples, mystic grottoes and extensive parkland plus a house packed full of history.

Getting there by train and bus has never been easier. Here’s how…

First, take the train

Choose from Warminster, Frome, Gillingham, or Tisbury train stations – whichever suits you best.

Then, board the bus

From the train station, take the Wiltshire Connect bus to Stourhead.

Wiltshire Connect is a different kind of bus service. In fact, it’s like the best bits of a taxi and a bus service all rolled into one!

Book your ride by app to turn up and take you where you want to go, when you want to go. Single journeys are no more than £3 and you can also use concessionary passes.

Arrive at Stourhead

The bus drops off and picks up right outside the visitor reception at Stourhead. Enjoy your day out then head back to the station with your pre-booked Wiltshire Connect bus.
