If you’re aged 16 or 17, you are eligible for a 16 to 17 Railcard, which lets you enjoy 50% off standard Anytime, Off-Peak, Advance and Season tickets. Save money on trips into town, days out to the coast, travel to college or weekend festivals – as many times as you like.
A 16-17 Railcard is just £30 and is valid for one year or until your 18th birthday, whichever comes first.
You can use your 16-17 Railcard for Anytime, Off-Peak and Advance fares as well as Season tickets.
Download your 16-17 Saver to your phone with the Railcard app or keep your 16-17 Saver in your wallet to get half-price tickets across the National Rail network (excluding travel on ScotRail, Caledonian Sleeper services, and Rail add-ons such as PlusBus).
