Trains between Cheltenham Spa and Swindon/London Paddington start/terminate at Gloucester instead of Cheltenham Spa until 17:00.

Trains between Worcester Foregate Street/Worcester Shrub Hill and Bristol Temple Meads also start/terminate at Gloucester until 16:30.

CrossCountry trains between Nottingham and Cardiff Central via Cheltenham Spa will not run until after 16:00.

CrossCountry trains will run between Penzance/Plymouth and Bristol Parkway, then between Worcestershire Parkway and the North of England/Scotland until 16:30.

Transport for Wales trains between Cheltenham Spa and South Wales also start/terminate at Gloucester until 17:30.

Replacement buses are planned between:

• Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa
• Gloucester and Worcester Foregate Street (stopping at all stations)
• Cheltenham Spa and Worcestershire Parkway (non-stop)
• Bristol Parkway and Cheltenham Spa (non-stop)
• Bristol Parkway and Worcestershire Parkway (non-stop)

Important to note

Further rail improvement work in the Cheltenham area will also affect trains between Cheltenham Spa and Worcester Shrub Hill/Worcestershire Parkway on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 May.

Track renewal work will affect train services between Cheltenham Spa and Worcester Shrub Hill/Worcestershire Parkway.

Trains still run between Cheltenham Spa and Swindon/London Paddington, but some will start/terminate at Gloucester instead of Cheltenham Spa on Sunday.

Trains between Worcester Foregate Street/Worcester Shrub Hill and Bristol Temple Meads start/terminate at Cheltenham Spa on Saturday and Gloucester on Sunday.

CrossCountry trains between Nottingham and Cardiff Central via Cheltenham Spa will not run on either Saturday or Sunday.

CrossCountry trains will run between Penzance/Plymouth and Cheltenham Spa – and then between Birmingham New Street and the North of England/Scotland.

Transport for Wales trains between Cheltenham Spa and South Wales unaffected.

Replacement buses are planned between:

• Cheltenham Spa and Worcester Foregate Street (stopping at all stations) – extending to Gloucester on Sunday
• Cheltenham Spa and Worcestershire Parkway (stopping at Ashchurch for Tewkesbury)
• Cheltenham Spa and Birmingham New Street (non-stop)
• Worcestershire Parkway and Birmingham New Street (non-stop)

Important to note

Engineering work in the Severn Tunnel will also affect trains between Bristol and South Wales until 14:25 on Sunday 19 May.

Essential maintenance of the overhead electrical supply will affect train services via the Severn Tunnel until at least 14:25.

Trains between London and South Wales will use a different route between Swindon and Newport – not stopping at Bristol Parkway.

Replacement buses are planned between Bristol Parkway and Newport.

Customers should use Transport for London buses or Underground services instead.

CrossCountry trains will use a different route between Cheltenham Spa and Bristol Parkway – stopping additionally at Newport and Gloucester.

Transport for Wales train services via Gloucester will be unaffected.

Replacement buses are planned between:

• Gloucester and Bristol Parkway – stopping at Cam & Dursley and Yate
• Gloucester and Stroud – stopping at Stonehouse (town centre)
