Boardmasters Festival

Head to this year’s Boardmasters Festival to enjoy fantastic live music and a host of beach activities. Set on the beautiful North Cornwall coastline, this epic five-day event attracts flocks of visitors to Newquay’s shores every year.

What to expect

Boardmasters 2018 welcomes to the stage some of the UK’s biggest artists, including Welsh rockers Catfish and the Bottlemen, electronic duo The Chemical Brothers and chart-topping musician George Ezra.

As well as live music, this popular Cornwall festival hosts surfing competitions, wellness activities and beach parties. There will also be numerous food and drink stalls, shops and local artisans to enjoy.

Similar to Boardmasters 2017, music and camping will take place at Watergate Bay. Beach activities and shopping can be found at Fistral Beach, which is just a short walk from the town centre.

How to get there

Getting to Boardmasters Festival is easy with Great Western Railway. All you have to do is jump on a train to Newquay train station. There is a shuttle bus service just outside the station that can take you to the main arena in just 15 minutes.

Boardmasters Festival is located in the heart of Newquay. When you’re not enjoying live music or trying your hand at surfing, take the time to explore the local area. Soak up the scenery with a fishing trip or experience the town's vibrant nightlife scene. The Blue Reef Aquarium and Newquay Zoo are guaranteed to be a hit with the kids.
