Bristol Harbour Festival

20-22 July 2018

Celebrate Bristol’s rich maritime history at the 2018 Bristol Harbour Festival.

Bristol Harbour Festival takes place along the city’s harbour front and promises to be a great day out for all the family. It features music acts, dancing and circus activities for all ages.

What to Expect

A festival for foodies, families and music fans alike, join 250,000 visitors and enjoy the best that Bristol has to offer at this free event.

Music fans can hear from both classic acts and local up-and-comers with live music stages set across the city. Head to The Amphitheatre Stage to see music legends Jimmy Cliff and Grandmaster Flash headline alongside other Trojan Records acts. Alternatively, if you prefer local talent, the Bristol Plays Music charity are showcasing talented young Bristolian musicians on The Discovery Stage.

Away from live music, the family-friendly Cirque Bijou will entertain crowds at Queen Square with street theatre and comedy, whilst Castle Park will host a children’s area and poetry stage. The action also moves on-water with The Harbour hosting special visits from tall ships, exciting races and other displays throughout the weekend.
