While you’re there
Bodmin General station is close to Bodmin town centre, so once you’ve visited the buffet, shop and exhibitions at the station, you can make the short walk to the town centre, museums, Bodmin Jail or Cornwall’s Regimental Museum.
From here you can walk or cycle the 5 miles to Wadebridge along the Camel Trail. The quaint sea-side resort of Padstow is 10 miles away.
While changing trains at Bodmin Parkway, be sure to visit the award-winning Signal Box Cafe and relax with a cup of tea or a snack within the peaceful surroundings of the station. The National
Trust’s Lanhydrock House is a 2 mile walk away along an old coach path.
