Serving the local community since it was opened in 1840, Shoreham-by-Sea railway station offers trains to a range of towns and cities including Southampton, Portsmouth, Bristol and London.

Originally known as Shoreham and Shoreham Harbour railway station, when it opened over 175 years ago, it settled on its current name in 1906. Today, the station offers an on-site ticket office, snack bar, car park and taxi rank, as well as a waiting room if you want to step in out of the cold.

Shoreham-by-Sea railway station is surrounded by reasons to visit too, with the beautiful Shoreham Beach perfect for a long walk by the sea. Or, you could immerse yourself in the historic artefacts and stories that can be found tucked away in the Marplins Museum; one of the oldest Norman buildings in Sussex.
