How to use mobile tickets

Once you downloaded the app, It's quick and easy to buy mobile tickets:

You just show your ticket to staff before boarding and/or on the train

Don't forget to charge your phone – if you can’t show your mobile ticket to station staff you’ll need to buy a new ticket on the day.

Availability

Mobile tickets are only available on certain routes, and for advanced purchase or flexible tickets.

Refunds and changes to your booking

Make sure you know: 
  • advanced purchase fares cannot be refunded
  • you can change your mobile ticket prior to your date of travel, but you will have to pay a fee ‒ contact our web team on 0345 7000 125 to find out more
  • to get compensation for a delay or cancellation, you’ll need proof of purchase or your device to hand when contacting us
