The Powderham Food Festival promises an unforgettable experience, bringing together over 100 exhibitors showcasing the finest food and drink makers in the region. From familiar favourites to exciting new faces, visitors can discover a wide array of gourmet treats that will tantalise their taste buds.

This year's festivities are packed with exciting entertainment, including a chilli eating contest and a host of cooking demonstrations where renowned chefs will be sharing their culinary expertise and tips. It's an extraordinary opportunity to elevate your gastronomic skills to new heights.

Powderham Food Festival is a family-friendly event and visitors are also invited to explore the remarkable Powderham Castle itself. The castle will be open throughout the weekend, offering talks, workshops, and an inside look into over 600 years of fascinating history.

Whilst admission tickets are free, visitors will have the opportunity to support the festival by making a donation at the event itself. All proceeds will go towards the preservation and enhancement of Powderham Castle.

Powderham Food Festival takes place on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 October 2023.

How to get to Powderham Food Festival

Arrive at Starcross station and then enjoy a scenic walk of around 30 minutes on the Exe Estuary Trail. Follow the blue NCN2 signs along Estuary Lane then turn left just before Starcross Lodge onto a footpath / cycle path which will take you to Powderham Castle shop and ticket office.

Alternatively, pick up the 2 bus service from outside the station which stops at the main entrance.
