Whether you’d prefer to visit London or Truro, Cardiff or Oxford what better way to celebrate love in all its form. If you’re looking to party, listen to poetry, attend with family or purely march in a Pride parade. There’s something for everyone this year.

We’ve put together a map to showcase some of the Prides across the GWR network between April and September. Whilst we’ve highlighted the main day at each, many of the festivities go on for longer, so why not make a weekend of it!

Oxford Pride

4 June

GWR are proud sponsors of Oxford Pride.


In 2022 Oxford Pride festival will run from Friday 27 May, with the Parade and Pride Day taking place on Saturday 4 June. With a main stage, vibrant parade, fabulous entertainers, event zones and a whole host of market and food stalls, this year’s event should be one to remember!
Trains run to Oxford and then it’s just short stroll to the heart of the celebrations.

Cornwall Pride

GWR are proud sponsors of Cornwall Pride.


In 2022, Cornwall Pride will stretch across the summer, with 11 events taking place in May, June and July. This means there are lots of fantastic opportunities to visit fabulous destinations in Cornwall and get involved.


Celebrations are taking place in Falmouth, Newquay, Penzance, Saltash, St Ives, Truro, Bude, Camborne, St Austell, Bodmin and Redruth, all of the events can be reached by train or bus.

Weston-super-Mare Pride

2 and 3 July 2022


They’re back! GWR are proud sponsors of Weston-super-Mare Pride in 2022.


Jump on a train to Weston-super-Mare for a weekend of fun! You can expect a 2-day jam packed event with a main stage, health and wellbeing zones, a family area, bars and refreshments along with loads of Rainbow!


Trains run to Weston-super-Mare, and then it’s just a 6 minute stroll to join the party at Ellenborough Park North.

Pride Cymru

27 and 28 August 2022


Hop on a train to Cardiff and join Pride Cymru at City Hall Lawns on 27 and 28 August.


Pride Cymru’s Big Weekend 2022 is Wales’s biggest celebration of equality and diversity. Expect two days of pure party atmosphere, with three stages, a mile-long parade, a family area and community market. There’s something for everyone!


Getting to Pride Cymru is easy. Trains run to Cardiff Central, located in the heart of the city.

Bristol Pride

9 July 2022


This year will see the return of the Pride March which will be louder and prouder than ever!


The festival spans two weeks from 25 June – 11 July, with a spectacular Pride Day taking place on Saturday 9 July at The Downs. The event will feature multiple stages and attract some of the biggest names in live music and entertainment. It also sees the return of the Pride Big Top, youth area, family zone and community area.


This year the Bristol Pride Parade kicks off at Castle Park, a 15-minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads station.


If you are heading to Bristol Pride Festival, jump on a train from Bristol Temple Meads to Clifton Down station.

Pride in London Parade

2 July 2022


Join London as it celebrates Pride in 2022.


Take the train to London Paddington and join in the celebration, as the Pride movement commemorates 50 years since the first UK event.


Getting to Pride in London is easy. Trains run to London Paddington, located in the city and then walk, take a bus or jump on the London Underground, to view the parade as it marches from Hyde Park Corner, through Piccadilly Circus and finishes at Whitehall Place.
