What to expect

Spending time with your family is important – but what can you do that everyone will enjoy? Expect plenty of fun and games with activities including dance classes, face painting, arts and crafts and much more at Wychwood Festival. Children’s comedy will have you giggling until your tummy hurts and maybe you will learn a few circus tricks along the way.

The Children’s Literature Festival is always fun-filled and don’t miss the great range of workshops whilst you’re there. All this is topped off with some great live music that the whole family can dance to. What could be better.

How do I get to Wychwood Festival?

Getting to the Wychwood Festival is easy. Simply hop on a train and make your way to Cheltenham Spa train station. This is just three miles away from Cheltenham Racecourse and takes about ten minutes in a taxi or just over 20 minutes by bus.

Please note: there is another station at the racecourse, but this is an old steam train line open to tourists and not suitable for travelling to the festival.

Camp at the Wychwood Festival

One of the great things about the Wychwood Festival is that you can camp. This is great fun for families and the campsite is flat, safe and close to the action. If you don’t want to camp, there are over 140 properties in Cheltenham where you can stay and still enjoy the three-day festival.
