There is a good service across our network
Network Rail is carrying out infrastructure improvements as well as essential maintenance of the region's railway to help provide better and faster journeys.
Most train services between London and the South West will be diverted via Bristol, extending journey times by around 30 minutes.
Some trains will still run between London Paddington and Castle Cary on Saturday 1 October, or from Friday 7 to Tuesday 11 October.
Buses will replace trains between Castle Cary and Taunton.
Please note, train services will only run between London Paddington and Westbury from Sunday 2 to Thursday 6 October.
Buses will replace trains between Westbury and Taunton.
Train services between Bristol Temple Meads and Weymouth will be replaced by buses between Frome and Yeovil Pen Mill on these dates.
No trains will stop at Westbury station.
As a result, trains between London and the South West will stop at Frome instead of Westbury.
Trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Weymouth will use an alternative route between Trowbridge and Frome, not stopping at Westbury.
Train services will also run between Cardiff Central and Trowbridge then between Warminster and Portsmouth Harbour.
Buses will replace trains between Westbury and Frome, Trowbridge or Warminster.
