Regional Railcard

If you’re aged 16 or over and live locally on our network, you could be entitled to a Regional Railcard. If eligible, you could save up to a 1/3 on train tickets – a huge benefit if you travel frequently on Great Western Railway trains.

Devon and Cornwall Railcard

The benefits

Buying a Devon and Cornwall Railcard means you save a 1/3 on:

  • all Standard Class Anytime or Off-Peak tickets for journeys not starting before 08:45, which are wholly within Devon and Cornwall
  • Devon and Cornwall Day Ranger tickets

How much does it cost?

The Devon and Cornwall Railcard costs just £12 a year for local residents in Devon and Cornwall aged 16 and over. Other benefits of buying the Railcard include:

  • 1/3 off Standard Class train tickets for an accompanying adult (excluding Ride Cornwall Ranger)
  • taking up to four children (aged 5-15) for a flat fare of £1 each, or £2 for a Day Ranger (excluding Ride Cornwall Ranger)

Cotswolds Line Railcard

The benefits

Save a 1/3 on Standard Class train tickets if you’re travelling between Worcester Foregate Street and Oxford.

If you’re travelling Monday to Friday, discounts apply on Off-Peak Single and Return train tickets from 08:25 towards Oxford and from 08:51 towards Worcester Foregate Street. Railcard discount applies all-day on weekends and public holidays.

How much does it cost?

A Cotswolds Line Railcard costs just £9.95 a year.

Anyone can buy a Cotswolds Line Railcard so just fill out this application form (PDF, 1 MB) and take it to one of the following stations:


Pembrokeshire Railcard

The benefits

Save a 1/3 on Standard Class tickets with a Pembrokeshire Railcard for all rail trips within Pembrokeshire and even Swansea via Carmarthen. Plus up to two children can travel with the card holder at the cost of £2.00 per child.

How much does it cost?

The Railcard costs £10, and there is no minimum spend on eligible tickets.

The Pembrokeshire Railcard is eligible for anyone aged 16 or over living in the following postcodes:
